Flavour frights
(physical cardgame)
This is a ​game that I made as a schoolproject where we made an entertainment card game.
We wanted to make a cardgame where you play as different classes (based on foodtastes) and you go through boss runs as a team.
So all the characters and enemies are based on these flavours (sweet, sour, spicy, bitter and salt).
I made concept art for all the weapons in the game. Basically every weapon that can be equiped in the game gets a different look (and stats) based on who equipes it.
So here are all the weapons I design to fit every character (sweet, salt, spicy, bitter and sour).
Here is how we implemented the art to make it function as a physical cardgame.
Here is the process of the sketches that I made for the characters to the final product (with card design).
With these designs I tried to fit the design and overall personality of the characters with their tastes.
These are all the enemies/bosses in the game. Due to time issues the sketches had to be done by the designer of my group. Based on the pictures she gave me I directly made the sketches into these cards.
